My dad passed away very sudden, although he'd had a stroke in 1995 he made a full recovery. He
usually went to his friend to stay on sat night so when i saw his light was on (he lived next door)
i just thought he'd changed his mind, tho i wanted to go in and check but didnt cos he didnt like me
worrying or making a fuss. When id seen him during the day i thought how red his eyes were, i now
realise he was feeling very uncomfortable but he didnt let me think it then. The next morn was a
sunday and the phone call was a shock, the ambulance was taking him to hosp from his friends house
where he'd collapsed. He and his friend Joan had gone late to hers cos he didnt feel well. I cycled
so fast over to my brothers flat, cos he didnt have phone. All the time i just presumed he'd be
sitting up when i got to the hosp. They pronounced him dead on arrival. He was very lucky to live as
long as he did, his two brothers suffered heart disease and weren't so fortunate. Always walking
everywhere and taking things in moderation..dad used to say. He saw my too sons every day and had
expressed to me on that fri how much he loved them and that he still cared for my mum. I think he
new.

I am a tiny angel
I'm smaller than your thumb
I live in peoples pockets

Though i'm with you all the time

Before I was an angel...
I was a fairy in a flower
God himself hand picked me
And gave me angel power
Now god has many angels
That he trains in angel pools
We become his eyes and ears and hands

And because god is so busy
With way too much to do
He said that my assignment

the love of angels very much
but one at least stays with you
as your constant friend and guide
for guardian angels never leave
